What I do is equally important

I’m Mwaka Brenda Mulife, a former Refugee at Dukwi Refugee Camp (Botswana). I want to share a little story of my life.

I got a scholarship to study Emergency Care Technology at Boitekanelo College through the help of Skillshare International Botswana. I’m forever grateful for that opportunity.

I repatriated to Namibia after graduation in 2019 and through God’s grace, I got a job in November 2020. My job is not in the field of paramedic but I work as a community care worker under Project Hope Namibia. Project Hope Namibia is under the section of Namibia Adherence and Retention Program (NARP) is an NGO that deals with orphans and vulnerable children as well as children living with HIV/AIDS.

The important thing is that I love my job as I make a difference to the needy in a special way.

and the similarity with my training is that I would still have made a difference by caring for the injured to preserve life. So the two are equally important.

Thanks to Skillshare International Botswana, I got a shot at tertiary education.
